The brief Monkey Valley Resort introductory movie for our new and soon-to-be-launched website was just created on Adobe Premiere Pro and is currently tested on YouTube. Perhaps not the ideal day with the FIFA Soccer Worldcup Finals today and extremely slow lines, downtimes on servers and more, however, it’s a good time for the ultimate ‘stress test’! What looks just perfect on our computer in terms of digital photography, web graphics, fonts and colors, is often far from what we finally see on YouTube, after major compression.
These compression rates are a hard bone to chew on; especially with slow lines down here in South Africa. Hardly understandable for anyone with normal fast lines in Europe or the US… but a real pain in many parts of the Southern Hemisphere.
